I don’t have anything particularly innovative to say. I just want to remind you that it’s okay and safe to:
- ask for help
- say, “No!”
- take time for yourself
- ask for clarification
- stay silent
- speak up
- look after yourself
- remove yourself from situations without a reason
- play
- sing
- laugh
- dance
- believe in something bigger
- eat chocolate
- go to movies by yourself
- yell in the forest
- have a tantrum
- watch cat videos
- day dream
- share your ideas
- do less
- love yourself more
- start from where you are, even if it means taking offensively small steps
- cry
- flail
- hug
- touch
- ask for more
- ask for what you want
- have a messy kitchen (except if you’re a restaurant – then you better clean that up!)
- do crafts
- say, “Thank you!”
- wish on stars
- look at the moon
- read books for fun
- take the stairs
- walk more
- declutter
- slow down
- meditate
- pray
- forgive yourself
- try something new
- ask for less
- renegotiate
- change your mind
- be vulnerable
- dress up
- put your phone down
- eat for your best body
- turn yourself on
- let go
- not give up
- make money doing what you love
I’m not saying you HAVE to do these things, but I’m jussay’n you CAN.
