I don’t have TOO many words for you today, but I do have an audio file for you. It’s purpose? Solely to bring you joy and make you smile.
It’s just me laughing. For an entire minute.
This post comes on the tails of the Easter Bunny long weekend. I spent a lot of time with loved ones, and a lot of time laughing until my belly hurt. More on that below. If you’d like.
I figure if laughter is the best medicine, then we should all have some. (Tweet it!)
So here. Have some. (And feel free to sing along.)
Click to play. And possibly giggle. Take two a day, away from food or drink.
More Words, for context. If you’d like.
My husband and I hosted our First Annual Easter Beer Hunt this weekend. To be clear the intention wasn’t a get-sloshed-boozy fest. People brought Rootbeer and cans of lemonade also. The point was to provide permission and a platform for silliness and creativity.
Man! Did it work.
As I looked around the yard at people painting and gluing and cutting and designing and digging through my BOXES of craft supplies I saw so many smiles and heard so much laughter. I kept saying (okay, yelling), “I’M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!”
Adults having silly fun. Doesn’t really get much better than that.
After our creations were complete we (my husband) hid the treasures around the yard. Then we found the treasures, and then we shared a delightful meal in community.
And the weather was incredible. It wouldn’t quit.
It was such a remarkable day. And to be honest it was a healing day. The air, the food, the people, the creativity, and of course, the laughter.

Coincidence alert
This is hilarious. Two hours before the Weekly Tonic newsletter went out, directing people to this post my friend Naomi, (Super Art Girl) posted this on my Facebook page:
“I needed to share this with you because really,
you do have the best laugh EVER! :)”
I hope you enjoyed this one. Bookmark it and come back to it when you need a giggle.
I’d love to hear about a funny memory that comes to mind when you think of gut-busting belly laughter. Let me know in the comments below.
To your healthy, thriving, delightful laughter (and life!)

Best day eVeR!
I still smile when I think about it.
And having this clip of your laugh to play over and over again when I need a laugh is one of my most favorite things <3
